Overview
Two available tour dates for our 2025 Editions –
15-24 January 2025 & 15-24 February 2025.
This 9 night, 10 day tour will kick off when guests arrive at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Guests will be welcomed by our tour leaders and make their way to Laluka Safari Lodge.
After a relaxing two night stay at Laluka, guests will be transferred to one of South Africa’s Mountain biking “must ride” destinations, Summerplace Game Reserve for 3 nights.
From Summerplace, guests will be transferred back to OR Tambo International Airport for a domestic flight down to the very popular Cape Town and Stellenbosch area.
After arrival in Cape Town, guests will be transferred to their accommodation for the next 4 night stay in Stellenbosch, followed by a visit to the Stellenbosch Experience Centre to get their SPECIALIZED bikes for the next 4 rides. Over the next 5 days, guests will get to experience this very popular area, riding amazing trails with an experienced guide, have on-trail refreshments, sightseeing and get to visit some of the most well known restaurants in and around Stellenbosch.
The tour will come to an end after 10 days of unforgettable experiences and riding!

Days 1-3
ARRIVAL & LALUKA SAFARI LODGE
Arrival of guests at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport. Meet and great our team at the airport and be transferred (± 2.5hrs) to Laluka Safari Lodge.
Sit back, relax and experience the African wilderness at its finest. Full board reservation ensures all daily meals, game drives and spoils are included to add to your first two nights at this amazing lodge.
Days 3-6
SUMMERPLACE GAME RESERVE
After two lazy days, guests will be collected from Welgevonden Game Reserve and be transported (approx. 45 min drive) to Summerplace for the next 3 nights stay.
Full board reservation again means all daily meals, SPECIALIZED MTB bike rental, daily guided rides with a professional ride guide and skills coach and more will ensure you’d love to revisit this amazing reserve with its beautiful accommodation options and more than 160km of hand built trails.
Day 6-9
STELLENBOSCH, CAPE TOWN
After 5 nights in the African bushveld, its time to head to the Cape region for a totally different but equally beautiful landscapes. After breakfast guests will be transferred back to the OR Tambo International Airport to fly to Cape Town for the last leg of the tour.
Upon arrival guests will be transferred to their accommodation in Stellenbosch. Guests will have the opportunity to explore this beautiful town followed by a visit to the SPECIALIZED Experience Centre in Stellenbosch to collect and set up their bikes for the last 3 days of riding.
Each day our guests will have different trail experiences, riding world famous trails such as: Eden, G-spot, Jonkershoek, Botmanskop and Banhoek.
Daily breakfast, lunch and dinners will ensure guests are well fed throughout the day while on two wheels or exploring the town.
Guests will be experiencing the area’s best restaurants namely
Fat Butcher, Spek & Bone and Boschendal Wine farms’s Werf Restaurant.
Day 10
DEPARTURE DAY
After a fun filled 10 day experience, guests will be transferred back
to the Cape Town International Airport for their respective transfers times – unless this trip is just the beginning of another adventure…?
