Overview
Join the RacePace Tours and Tri Travel team for the 2023 Tour de France and experience a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the race up close while enjoying the French countryside and cuisine. Each day we will ride between 50-110km (depending on the itinerary) riding the same roads as the heroes of the tour.
We will climb the famous mountains including Mont Ventoux, Alpe d’Huez, Col du Galibier and Courchevel along the way staying at 3-4-star accommodations including the Sofitel Paris le Frauburg located just 200m from the finish area on the last days of the le Tour.
You will be guided by experienced tour leaders, have access to support vans, and be transported in the comfort of a large coach when moving location.
All breakfasts and dinners are provided with light lunches included while riding the countryside. Non-riders will have the option of being a part of daily riding activities, riding ‘shotgun’ in the tour vans and cheering on the riders at various locations on the course.

Day 1
ARRIVAL – GENEVA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
On Wednesday you will arrive in Geneva and overnight in this beautiful city. Put your feet up and relax at the Hilton Airport Hotel.
Day 2
MONT VENTOUX CLIMB DAY
On Thursday we will begin to make our way to Mont Ventoux where the tour will begin. We will arrive in Val De Sault (the base of Mont Ventoux) on Thursday, where we will unpack and prepare to tackle the famous mountain tomorrow morning or even the same afternoon. You will stay at Hostellerie Du Val De Sault.
Day 3
MONT VENTOUX CLIMB DAY (2)
Today we tackle the Giant of Provence, the Mont Ventoux. Even though it doesn’t feature on this year’s TDF race route, we take the opportunity to scale this iconic mountain whilst we’re in the area. We will leave
together after breakfast riding to the base of the mountain. Here we will begin the long climb to the summit, but you will be fully supported by our vans along the way.
We will re-group and ride back to our accommodation for lunch and relax around the pool watching Le Tour. You will stay at Hostellerie Du Val De Sault.
Day 4
DRIVE TO AIX-LES-BAIN
Today we will take the 4-hour drive to Aix-Les-Bain Alpe Region. While in the Alpe region, we will do the following climbs: Alpe d’ Huez, Col du Galibier, Courchevel and the climb up from Leschaux to Lake Annecy.
Day 5
STAYING IN THE ALPS REGION
While in the Alpe region, we will do the following climbs: Alpe d’ Huez, Col du Galibier, Courchevel and the climb up from Leschaux to Lake Annecy. You will stay at Hotel & Spa Vacances Blu Villa Marlioz.
Day 6
STAYING IN THE ALPS REGION

Day 7

Day 10
TRAVEL TO GRAND HOTEL CLOCHE DIJON
We will stop over in Dijon France, en route to Paris just to make the trip a bit shorter.
DAY 11
ARRIVAL IN PARIS
Guests will have some free time to explore Paris, before our farewell dinner. You will stay at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg.
Day 12
OUR FINAL DAY!
The riding is done for our crew as we prepare to welcome home the riders of Le Tour to the Champs Elysees.
A team lunch is organised, and then we make our way to the finish area and watch the completion of the Tour de France. After the tour, it is time to celebrate in one of the many French restaurants and bars.
Day 13
TRANSFERS TO CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT
After a huge two weeks, it is time to say goodbye as we arrange private transfers back to the airport for your return journey home.
